DAYTIME PARTIES         ARE NOW A                 REALITY!!!! IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT JUNE 8TH PARTY .... AND THE SURVEY RESULTS ARE IN! Hi everyone. This Saturday is going to be a very Hectic day for me so I am asking everyone to please get your passes and sign onto Rich's Party on the 8th ASAP.  I personally will not be there .  John C. (not me) my asst. will be there to log you in and get you settled.  That Saturday I am slammed as it's that time of year...  I have An all day event I have been hired for ...and then in the evening there is The Demolition Derby I have been doing for 8 years (I am not doing this either) but coordinating for it. And then of course Rich's party at night.  I must be at the event by 9:30 am....I will have a break from about 1pm to 5PM. (guesstimated)  During this time I will try to get all the orders processed... So I am asking if you guys will get your passes on Friday if you can and on Saturday please get your passes before 4pm!!  Please make note of this...Our Normal cut of is by 6pm...many of you never pay attention to this and I see people paying for passes as late as 11:30 at night! This has got to stop...We as the hosts, need time to get there and set up and then greet people etc. So Any purchase after 6pm there is NO guarantee you will get the address and info in time...there are NO refunds for people who plan poorly.  Also, if you do not cancel with at least 2 hours notice I am not obligated to give you a refund or give an exchange to another party.....like the guy who wrote in at almost 10pm he was sick...sorry, to tell me you are sick or something came up almost 2 hours into a party does not qualify you for any reimbursable actions. You are just a no show.  Another item...PLEASE NOTE...space in the house and parking is limited at Rich's. We base our #s on 40. After that things get tight. If you think that just because you have been to Rich's before and know where it is...DOES NOT MEAN you can just buy a pass and show up anytime you want. As many of you have experienced recently..parking is THE major issue at Rich's...so if you just show up we can't and won't guarantee you a parking space. You may be turned away. If we see you purchased your pass after 6pm this may be a reality.   We do our best to accommodate everyone when we can so please help us out and try to accommodate us when we have a tight schedule like we do this day. This looks like the last day with a conflict through the summer.  Thanks for understanding and your cooperation.    I want to thank everyone who responded to our survey regarding the possibility of hosting day time events.     We had a lot people respond and the results are in !!!!    With about 70 people responding it is undeniable that you all like the idea of a daytime party.  The votes were pretty evenly split as to a preference of locations.  So, with results like this it looks like we'll be starting some daytime events very soon. Now we have to coordinate with the home owners and the dates we already have.  Most liked Wednesday as the day and 12noon to 3pm seemed to be fine with most...Some had various opinions from...Wednesdays are great but make it at night...duh,,,thus defeating the "daytime" aspect...to, it needs to be more hours like until 6pm...The idea was to make it a day time getaway event and get people back to work or heading home before traffic gets too congested. Keep in mind, we may not have to kick people out at 3pm but we do need to have a designated end time.   So it's on...now just keep an eye out for our start dates. We will alternate one party in Silver Spring and then 2 weeks later...every other week, we will be in Springfield. As long as we get your support we are a go for this new development in our group.  Thanks for your support.
